My inspirationjournal: Volume Five

Volume Five

on 28 May 2020

Hi everyone! As always, I hope you’ve been able to (responsibly) enjoy the amazing weather we’re having at the moment.

It’s been over three weeks since my last post, my apologies. To say it’s been busy here is an understatement! I’ve made a coffee and been strict on myself to make sure I found some time to write a little something.

I’ve read a lot over the past couple of months about what people would like to learn or achieve whilst in this period of lockdown. Whether it be a new language (a friend of mine said he was set on learning Spanish), a new instrument, or simply to read the now dust-covered book that has always been pushed back. It got me thinking…what would I like to achieve?

For a while now, I’ve been a huge admirer of vector illustrations like the one used on this post. They offer a different element to designs and, I think, have a really nice style to them. I’m setting myself the challenge of learning how to make these with the intention of creating a library of resources available to use on future projects (I might sneak some pop-culture ones in too!) If you have any requests or recommendations, please let me know.

In the meantime, stay safe.

Best wishes,
